Un d e r t h e C o w l I.C.P. from Italy intends to start delivery of this new bolt-on two-cylinder engine by the end of 2013. I.C.P.'s Bolt-On 80- to 150-hp Engine New hope for the LSA/experimental market? By Marino Boric The major Italian LSA manufacturer I.C.P. will officially introduce a new bolt-on, four-stroke engine with up to 150 hp in the first quarter of 2013. Is this new family of engines going to have a much bigger impact on the engine market than all other newcomers? Probably yes, because the I.C.P. engine has several unique selling propositions. (Some features of the M09 engine, 26 Vol.2 N o.2 / February 2 013 as it is called, are much different than those of all other competitors.) A few months ahead of the planned official announcement this month, information about a new European engine for the light-sport aircraft leaked.
