The Aerolite 103 ultralight was designed by Terry Raber, but it is now owned and produced as a ready-to-fl y ultralight by Dennis Carley of U-Fly-It Ultralights Ltd. www.ufl yit.com This Aerolite 103 ultralight built by Dennis Carley features fl aps, tricycle gear, brakes, a windscreen, control yoke, and emergency parachute. This 1981 Robertson B1-RD ultralight, modifi ed by Lee Fischer of Larsen, Wisconsin, to accommodate a 65-hp Rotax 582 has nearly twice the power of the original design. Photography by Dan Grunloh
